So, you like the general style of the shirts that are here, but can't find
exactly the slogan or logo that you want?
If you're not sure what you want, you might like to keep an eye on our News
Page, or subscribe to the Occasional
Newsletter - we have new shirts all the time, and one of them might
be just what you're looking for.
On the other hand, if you do know what it is that you want, and we don't
already have it here, then please feel free to explain your idea to me via
email. If I think your idea is good, and that I'd be able to do it well,
I may decide to design the shirt for you!
If I agree to design your shirt, there are at least two ways that it could
work:
A One-Off Shirt
If what you want doesn't really fit into what I have on display at NoPity
Shirts, or if I don't think other people would be interested in purchasing
it, then you can have the shirt anyway if you do these things before the
design is done:
- You commit to buying at least one copy of the shirt when it's finished.
- You
pay a one-off US$10 design surcharge.
- You sign a limited license for the
intellectual property rights to the slogan/design (as appropriate)
over to me so that I can legally make the shirt.
Them I turn your words and/or pictures into a shirt that is perfect for
you!
In this case, the shirt would not be for sale on NoPity shirts, but if
at any time you want more copies of the shirt, you'll be able to purchase
them by contacting
me directly.
A General Sale Shirt
If I think the shirt is appropriate, and I want to sell it on NoPity Shirts,
then you can have the shirt designed if you do this before the design is
done:
- You commit to buying at least one copy of the shirt when finished.
- You transfer
all copyright/intellectual property rights to having the slogan/design
(as appropriate) on T-shirts over to me. This means nobody else has the
right to make these particular T-shirts.
Them I turn your words and/or pictures into a shirt that is perfect for
you!
In this case, the shirt will be available on NoPity Shirts for as long as
I choose to keep it there - which will depend on how many people are buying
it, as I 'swap out' shirts that aren't selling well. I don't commit that
you will necessarily be able to purchase further shirts in the future -
obviously if it's available on NoPity Shirts then you can buy it yourself
withouut needing my help, but if I decide to take the design down, it may
no longer be available. It is possible but not certain that you
may be able to arrange additional copies of the shirt for yourself even
if it has been taken from general sale, this may also attract a small fee
additional to the shirt price.
Something Else...
If the options here don't suit you, feel free to email
me and I'll do my level best to figure out something that will suit
us both. I'm very flexible about how things are done, and look forward
to hearing from you.
