We have introduced design your own shirts! That means you tell me what slogan
and pictures you want, and I turn it into your dream shirt! Check
out the details here.
Another great new innovation - we are pleased to be able to offer you dark
colored shirts! Every design available at NoPity Shirts can now also be purchased
on a shirt which is dark blue, dark red, dark green, or black. Dark colors
have been widely requested by NoPity Shirts customers - and now they are
finally available.

Very quiet down at NoPity Shirts, as Ricky is very sick and not able to
work.

We now have a newsletter! Check out The NoPity
Shirts Occasional Newsletter and subscribe
now - before the rush! We are aiming to have a newsletter out
about every six weeks highlighting new shirts, changes to the website, and
other exciting news and ... well ... whatever we can fill it up with, really.
Unfortunately, I have been sicker than usual lately, so there isn't so much
going on in the way of new shirts ... but I can tell you we have
some exciting new collaborations coming up with an artist with a disability
who produces really great work. So stay glued to the new newsletter, and
the website, to find out what's happening.

Steady growth continues with our shirt range now sitting in the mid-seventies.
A great number!
This month we also introduced a PRINT for the first time. The Open
Letter To Those Without A Chronic Illness print is something I've wanted
to do for a long time considering the popularity of the text on which it's
based. I'll also be adding morre prints in the future, and I hope everybody
enjoys them.

There has been much behind-the-scenes work which - if we are lucky - nobody
will notice but us.
The index-by-topics has been moved to the front page, which makes the shirts
much more accessible and the heading on the front page has been re-drawn
to look clearer. I'm quite happy with the main index page now!
We have reached an all-time high of 70 different shirts, and are starting
to build up a library where some slogans have more than one shirt design
based on theme. This will hopefully satisfy those who like more "flamboyant"
and "in your face" shirts as well as those who would like a quieter
and less blatant shirt to wear, but still like the slogan.
All in all, things are going well.

More website updates have been happening, there's now a Links Page containing sites recommended particularly by NoPity Shirts, and also a Reciprocal Links Page which has a link from each site that agrees to link to us, to help with keeping track of them.
The site has been made more friendly by adding LONGDESC attributes to all
shirt and advertising graphics, and also [D]-type links are being added to
appropriate graphics too.
We are investigating adding the capacity for WordCue to
be used with the site also, to assist those with cognitive difficulties.

There are more shirts available again - fifty three are already up on the website, and another four have been completed and are just waiting to be uploaded. I'll get them up as soon as possible, I promise!
Access Key definitions have now been added to the site, to make navigation easier for those people using keyboard-only navigation, and anybody else who just happens to like them.

The latest stuff ...
- Our shirt count has reached FOURTY ONE with the addition of bunches more shirts. The latest one is the "I'd Love A Wheelchair ..." shirt - slogan suggested on the comments/feedback page by Fred. This is one that's bound to make you chuckle. Thanks, Fred!
- A special new page: How To Link To NoPity Shirts from your own website. This page includes a bunch of neat graphics you can use in your link, courtesy of Nikolai Kingsley. Thanks for all the work on those, Nikolai!
- Another new section contains the Archive Of Featured Shirts from the front page. Whenever we remove a shirt from the 'Featured' section on the front page, it'll head straight for the archive so you can still check it out any time you want.

We have a comments/guestbook page added! Yay! I have put the "add a comment" form at the bottom of each page so it's really easy to toss out comments and feedback from anywhere on the website. I hope you all enjoy the chance and make use of it!

Lots has already happened but for some reason a "news" page only just occurred to me. So I'll fill you in on the background. During January everything took off - well, nearly everything!
- The first thing was that we moved our partnership for manufacturing and
distributing the shirts from CafePress to Zazzle.
Zazzle's interface makes the process of shirt-making much quicker and easier,
which is important when you're doing an average of one a day! And they
also give us more money too, which is jolly cool I must say.
- Our domain name of http://nopityshirts.com/ was finally registered and this website was revealed to an unsuspecting public who immediately set upon hacking and ... well, no, actually they just looked like the Nice People that you are.
- We started designing shirts in earnest. After skating through 2004 with about 3 shirts and no significant work, January of 2005 saw Ricky working her butt off and an enormous jump in our works from about 3 shirts to an all-time high of THIRTY TWO SHIRTS IN TOTAL by the 31st of January, 2005. Not bad going, Ricky. The doctor did mention the words "manic state" and "possible brain aneurysm" but we're sure he was joking.
- This website has evolved from a single page hanging off the Not Done Living website into it's very own self which has a billion pages of it's own (OK, 47 at the end of January, 2005) and needs a serious amount of spell-checking. Please feel free to point out our spell-checking disasters and we shall fix them.
- We began The Advertising Game with some serious research into how much this stuff costs and promptly fainted. When revived, much alcohol was necessarily imbibed. In a big hurry. We may put the advertising off until cash flow improves a tad!
Well, yes. That's all for now. Keep your eyes peeled for more news every few weeks hopefully. We're going well with selling the new designs but we always need more customers so if you know of any cool people who should know about NoPity Shirts, then either tell 'em yourself or drop us a line and we'll do all the dirty work for you. How's THAT for an offer you can't refuse!!
